PE & TA Law Firm, as the data controller, collects, processes, stores, uses and transfers the personal data of its clients, consultants and people who communicate with it via e-mail, website or other channels, at the discretion and extent necessary. PE & TA Law Firm carries out all processes regarding your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and other legislative provisions, with utmost care and sensitivity in protecting your personal data.

  • Personal data; refers to all kinds of information regarding an identified or identifiable natural person.

  • Processing of personal data; refers to any actions performed on the data such as obtaining, recording, storing, preserving, changing, rearranging, disclosing, transferring, taking over, making available, classifying or blocking usage by fully or partially automatic or non-automatic means provided that it is part of any data recording system.

Collection and Processing of Personal Data:

Attorney Pelin Tarhan is the data controller regarding your data that may be processed on the internet, on the website and in the law office. Your data below may be collected through forms physically prepared in the office or electronically via the website, in line with your declaration, information and approval:

Name and surname, place and date of birth, gender, marital status, TR identification number, passport number or other identification numbers, identity card, passport and other identification documents and information, address, e-mail, telephone number and other contact information, payment and invoice information, other financial data, photographs and videos and other visual, audio data, the personal information provide in the forms, voice and digital information that may be obtained by us from time to time through electronic or non-electronic methods, (in limited cases and to the extent necessary for the service provided), information provided by you and classified as special personal data within the scope of PDPL, event and seminar records, (application of the log-in procedure) usernames and passwords, personal data obtained from clients or from clients regarding third parties, client feedback, services we carry out within the scope of legal data (data regarding cases and investigations, etc.), legal review result data, all data regarding employees' service contracts, personnel files and job suitability, insurance-related data, website or CVs of job candidates or other persons regarding job opportunities and other data provided by other offline means, other data regarding access to the website and use of the website, and data regarding cookies (if used) are processed by us, due to legal obligation and regarding your visit to the website; data collected by cookies such as connection/exit date and time information, internet protocol, source and destination information and location information, enabling you to use the website more effectively, easily and quickly, customizing site services and activities in line with your needs, enabling third party websites to provide you with more appropriate services and offers.

Purposes of Processing Your Personal Data:

Your personal data is processed for the purposes of carrying out the necessary work so that you can benefit from attorney services and activities, customizing and recommending the services and activities offered by PE & TA Law Firm according to your preference, usage patterns and needs, providing the necessary technical support and quality in line with your requests, fast and unhindered sharing by associating the site with social networks, answering all your questions and complaints regarding our services and activities, taking all necessary technical and administrative measures within the scope of data security, providing the necessary information and carrying out administrative operations in line with the requests and inspections of regulatory and supervisory institutions and official authorities.

Transfer of Your Personal Data:

PE & TA Law Firm may share or transfer your personal data in line with your consent in order to achieve the personal data processing purposes specified in the Information Text regarding the activities it carries out and for the purposes stated below. Your personal data may be transferred to your attorneys and representatives authorized by you, regulatory and supervisory institutions and other official institutions such as courts and enforcement offices, other public institutions or organizations authorized to request your personal data, within the framework of personal data processing conditions specified in articles 8 and 9 of the PDPL.

Your rights under the Personal Data Protection Law are as follows:

  • Learning whether your personal data is being processed or not,

  • Requesting information if your personal data has been processed,

  • Learning the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used for their intended purpose,

  • Knowing the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred at home or abroad,

  • Requesting correction of your personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed,

  • Requesting the deletion or destruction of your personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in article 7 of PDPL,

  • Requesting that the transactions carried out in accordance with paragraphs (d) and (e) of article 11 of PDPL, to be notified to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,

  • Objecting to the emergence of a result unfavorable to you by analyzing your processed data exclusively through automatic systems,

  • Requesting compensation for the damage if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing of your personal data.

You may send your requests by letter, phone or email, in person or through a notary. Your requests will be finalized free of charge within 30 days after they are submitted to us.

Explicit Consent and Approval Text:

I hereby give my informed consent, without any hesitation, to the processing of my personal/special personal data within the framework of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, including obtaining, recording, storing, changing, updating, classifying, keeping them for the necessary amount of time, sharing it with third parties or transferring it abroad due to legal reasons or the nature of the work performed.
